Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can be used for things like keeping you logged in, remembering preferences, or tracking behaviour for analytics and advertising.
Looped uses exactly one cookie:
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
connect.sid |
Keeps you securely logged in to your account | Strictly necessary | 24 hours |
This cookie is essential to the operation of the service. Without it, you would not be able to stay logged in. It is set with the secure, httpOnly, and sameSite: lax attributes to protect it from being read or misused by other sites.
We do not use any analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking cookies of any kind. We do not use tools like Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar services.
Under UK and EU rules on cookies (PECR / the ePrivacy Directive), consent is generally required for non-essential cookies, but not for cookies that are strictly necessary for the service you've asked for, such as keeping you logged in. Because the only cookie we use falls into this "strictly necessary" category, we do not currently display a cookie consent banner. If this changes in future, for example if we introduce analytics, we will update this policy and add a consent mechanism as required.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking the connect.sid cookie will prevent you from staying logged in to Looped.
We may update this policy if the cookies we use change. Check the "last updated" date above.
